1. How much does it cost to be a member of RPM?
    • RPM members pay monthly dues of $110 per month.
    • Our Cessna 172 is available for $85 per Hobbs hour dry
    • Our Piper PA-28 is available for $75 per Hobbs hour dry.
    • Members are responsible for fuel costs. Lansing KIGQ has an on field self-service fuel pump.
    • New members pay a one-time non-refundable membership fee of $1,000
  2. How many members does RPM have?
    • RPM has 24 members, representing student pilots through airline transport pilots and everything in between.
  3. How can I join RPM?
    • We are currently at our maximum number of members. We maintain a short waiting list and typically one slot opens monthly.
    • When a slot opens up, the prospective member will be required to complete a checkout flight with a club CFI and pay the membership fee.

  4. Do you allow flight training?
    • Yes, we allow members to use club aircraft for their own flight training with their own instructors.
  5. Does RPM own the aircraft?
    • The aircraft are owned by the club outright. Each member’s share is proportional to the number of contiguous months’ dues paid.
  6. How are the aircraft maintained?
    • The aircraft are maintained perfectly on-field at Lansing KIGQ.
